When Heilung self-released 'Ofnir' in 2015, the Danish band could hardly believe the breakthrough of their debut album. As the demand for a re-release grew, they decided to make the album available again, this time in multiple collector edition formats.
The band name describes the core of the band's sound. The listener is intended to return relaxed after a magical, sometimes turbulent musical journey. In doing so, the band travels far back in time to the Nordic Iron Age and Viking Age. In terms of lyrics, they adhere to original texts from rune stones and antique artifacts.
